Trinity

God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are separate in being and substance, but one in unity and purpose.

The Bible

God-breathed, delivered by the Holy Spirit through divinely inspired men.

Infallible and everlasting pronouncement of God by which all things must be judged.

It is not to be deviated from or altered.

God

The eternal, holy, unchanging, all-powerful, all knowing, just and merciful. Sovereign in all things.

Jesus

The Son of God, sent by the Father to be the Savior and Redeemer of all mankind and now abides with the Father as an advocate for believers.

Holy Spirit

Sent by the Father to draw mankind to Christ and to equip believers with power to do the work for the ministry through the Baptism of the Spirit.

Worship

Important outward demonstrations of praising, glorifying, and serving God. This is done together with singing, music, expressing joy and thankfulness, and telling of His great work in our lives.

Prayer

The line of communication between mankind and God encouraged throughout the Bible. A time of reverence, an expression of thanks, and an opportunity to intercede and to express request for help.

Communion

An outward observance during which believers eat broken bread and drink the “fruit of the vine” to remember the broken body and the shed blood of Christ until He comes again.

Sin

All have sinned and are guilty before God. Jesus Christ came and died for our sins. He defeated death,  was resurrected, and now He sits at the right hand of the Father. We have forgiveness of sin through Him and none other. We become new creatures, no longer servants to sin.

Salvation

Being reconciled to God through belief in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the Cross.
Being justified by faith.
Being born again and abiding in Christ.

Baptism

Symbolizes a person being fully immersed in Jesus and His commandments. It is not the washing away of sin or the new birth, but a means of confessing Christ.
